This is a blip.tv account that initially had one video of two bloody typewritten pages of spanish. When translated, they told the story of Derek's first outside contact, with a Mexican man named Hector Jaramillo.

L.L.E.T.

An image that says DIC_ and an audio file of a piano playing notes appeared on the nowheremen main page. The DIC_ was the icon for the macintosh terminal program.

The 22

There is a video of a dark hallway in what looks like a storage space. at the end of the video there is a frame of white lines/arrows making an angle. When this angle was lined up with the key circle in the DHMO synthetic eye picture, it was an angle of 22 lines.

DHMO

On the main site, they gave us a picture that says "this is the key" and another picture of some instructions. We found that one of them said flickr.com in the drawing of people, and searching for the name of that image on flickr lead us to a picture, which led us to further pictures on google images, and other photo sites.

They turned out to be pieces of the synthetic eye picture, which had to be assembled for us to see the letters DHMO in them, which gave us nowheremen.net/DHMO…

Newspaper Clipping


The clipping we received was a photocopy of part of a Cambridge, MA newspaper article about the disappearance of Derek Francis Border, last seen with two unidentified people, near the time of graduation ceremonies. The articles author is Romen Wheen, and there is a picture of Derek by photographer Tod Ten.

Roman Wheen Tod Ten is an anagram for nowheremendotnet.
